Welcome to Port Melbourne Football Club

The Borough competes in the Victorian Football League (VFL), the Victorian Football League Women’s (VFLW) and the Victorian Blind Football League (VBFL) competitions.

The VFL & VFLW competitions are operated by the Australian Football League (AFL) and is its second-tier, semi-professional competition. The home ground for these matches is ETU Stadium in Port Melbourne and the season usually runs from March through to September with the VFLW consisting of 14 rounds and the VFL of 21 rounds.

The VBFL is a relatively new competition (also run by the AFL) which the Borough joined for the first time in 2024. These games are hosted at a specially designed facility at Tullamarine and runs from May to July each year.

Known as the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) until 1996, the men’s team is the most decorated VFL/VFA club in the competition boasting 17 premierships. In 2016 the Victorian Football League Women’s (VFLW) was introduced and the Borough Women’s team joined the competition in 2021 and won the club’s first VFLW flag in 2023.
