November CEO Update

Now that we are close to being restriction-free and no more lockdowns, I thought I would share some updates with you all.

Our lighting project is underway and we will soon start to see activity around the ground. We are also working on the change room designs to make these more female friendly.

The above render is an artist’s impression only and light pole design may be subject to change in the finalisation of the design.

Pre-season training has commenced for both programs. The players have come back upbeat and excited about the season ahead. Unfortunately, it is players and rostered staff only that can attend training as we are still under Covid protocols that we need to follow, which include limited numbers in attendance. This is also complicated by the requirement to share venues with summer sports. We will keep you updated when these restrictions ease and you can start to attend training again, as we certainly look forward to seeing you there.

Our VFLW team are all smiles as they kicked off pre-season last week.

Over the next few weeks, we will announce more of our signings for season 2022 and I am sure there will be some excitement for both programs when these are made. Be sure to check out our Instagram to view our re-signings and new recruits so far.

Next week we will provide details about player and business sponsor opportunities, so keep an eye out for those across our social pages.

Recently we launched our 2022 membership campaign offering 50% discount for all 2021 members and 25% for any new member/s that join pre-Christmas. If you haven’t already, jump on the website and purchase your membership now.

Your Digital Membership Card will be needed when attending games and functions in 2022 and don’t forget a membership can be a great Christmas present for family and friends.

We are also starting to plan some events for early in the New Year to bring everyone together, more details will be shared in due course.

We would love to see everyone getting around our socials, and when you see fit please share to your following as we’d love to see the Borough continually grow stronger and stronger.

I will be in touch again with another update, until then Go Borough!
